Deaf Accessible Tourism can count on decades of experience, passion and hobbies of its staff. We offer finely selected Itineraries for deaf travelers, experienced first hand by our skilled tour guides, organizers and local guides (turned out to be friends) who are truly knowledged and fond of their own land. Our focus is excellence, both in beauty and culture. Our goal is to propose and offer authentic experiences, that will provide travellers with indelible memories.

Marine biologist, deaf, and with a PhD in Barcelona, he returned to school for a three-year program in international sign language mediation. Always passionate about travel (more than 50 countries visited) and sports, especially rugby. He is dedicated to accessible tourism for deaf people. He speaks fluent Spanish and English, and has an intermediate knowledge of Catalan, LIS, and ASL.

Always interested in religions and traditions, he studied Islam, Judaism, Hinduism, and Buddhism. With hobbies such as symbolic architecture, literature (and food), he has taken approximately 60 group and solo trips, including 30 to India. Degree in Sociology, PhD in Hindu Philosophy and Literature.

Beatrice Di Tomizio

Part of the team for over 10 years. Worked extensively in tourism-related publishing. Former travel blogger, president of two cultural associations, author of books about food intolerances. Illustrator, she loves and professes art, with several solo exhibitions. Lived in the United Kingdom for four years and traveled extensively: Middle and Far East, North Africa and Latin America. Passionate about history and philosophy, languages—in addition to English (almost a native speaker) she is studying Arabic—nautical tourism, deserts, and adventure.

On the road for almost 20 years with his backpack, has traveled to more than 80 countries across five continents. Loves cultures and languages. English and Spanish fluently spoken, good understanding of Hindi, Urdu, French, and German. He has lived more than two and a half years in India, four months in Pakistan, three months in Iran, one year in Australia, one year in America, one year each in Indochina and China, as well as two years in Spain and Germany. Francesco Marziale

Degree in Oriental Languages and Civilizations from the Oriental University of Naples, Japanese language and culture. Passionate about Japan since childhood, he traveled throughout the country and lived for several years in Tokyo, which he considers his adopted hometown, where he worked as the front desk manager of a famous hotel. Fluent Japanese and English. He loves onsen, karaoke, history, and strolling the streets of the capital, looking for hidden spots. A short chat with him is enough to understand his love and passion for the Land of the Rising Sun.

Miriam Slob Taddei

Degree in Modern Languages and Translation from Hull (UK) (French and German). She traveled to Iran, India, and Morocco, and studied at the University of Damascus before the civil war, a city she remains deeply attached to. She has lived extensively abroad. English, German, Dutch and French speaking. Extensive experience as a flight attendant, serving as Cabin Manager.

Sabrina Raso

After graduating as a hotel and tourism operator, she worked in various travel agencies in front office roles. She was responsible for administrative tasks, contracts, and insurance policy issuance. She also managed bookings and was a Sabre representative for flight research and booking. Sabrina will be your contact for all deposits and payments! Mother of two, she loves cooking (especially Sicilian dishes), France - which she has visited several times - French language and, of course, traveling.

Rita Alessandro

Passionate about astronomy and sciences since childhood, she is a member of the Montelupo Amateur Astronomers Group, working in outreach and education. Asteroid 52426 (1994 PF) is named after her. Attended the University of Foreign Languages and Literatures in Pisa, where she deepened her knowledge of English and Spanish. She is also fascinated by history, art, and world traditions. A novice photographer and avid reader, she favors fantasy and Japanese manga, as well as literary classics. With Yana, she honed her hotel booking and travel services skills.

Born in 1998, she graduated in Linguistic and Cultural Mediation from the University for Foreigners of Siena (English and Chinese). During her studies, she attended Nanjing Normal University in Jiangsu, China. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Oriental and Intercultural Studies at the Carlo Bo University of Urbino. She has traveled primarily in Asia, the Middle East, and Europe since childhood. In addition to her love of travel, philosophy, Middle Eastern and Asian languages and cultures, she is passionate about Italian singer-songwriters, particularly Franco Battiato, on whom she based her thesis, analyzing the multilingualism and multiculturalism present in his works.

After graduating from high school with a degree in tourism and a degree in French, she began working with us, following several internships at various travel agencies. Cheerful and curious, she loves discovering new places and immersing herself in different cultures. Her passion for travel is what drives her to explore the world, always seeking new experiences and knowledge.
